An old turn-of-the-century house in inner southeast Portland needed a better finish on the bedroom deck. A railing that matched the style of the house was built.

This small porch had stairs heading down on both sides, but neither side had a railing.  A railing for each side was built, making the stairs much safer for occupants and visitors.
