Steps / Stair Repair and Replacement
The stairs to this classic Portland house had rotten treads, risers, and handrails. We replaced all rotten wood, replaced treads and risers with 5/4" CVG fir, and made new handrails out of Western Red Cedar. We then painted steps and coated the handrails with marine varnish to protect from the weather.
This homeowner's stairs were stained, split and rotting. West Coast Restoration took off all the old steps and cut new pieces in fir. This after image is before they were stained.
This beautiful home's front door was missing something. It never had a step up to the door, making the entry look unfinished or in repair. We made a sturdy step out of fir for a better looking and safer front door entryway.
